Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Control Engineering or similar field required with 3-5 years’ experience. 3 years SCADA experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry is preferred.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in relative field

SCADA or HMI configuration or administration is required.

Engineer (Water Treatment and Corrosion Control)

Job Purpose:

To provide technical expertise in optimization of piping, valve and equipment life. To develop water composition analysis and treatment procedures (for field application).

Qualification: Graduate in Chemical engineering

Experience: 2 to 3 experience in boiler’s de-scaling and maintenance and water treatment operations in the process industry
Experience in maintenance activities for corrosion control in pipelines

Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of industry standards and methods on boiler/once through steam generator de-scaling.
Knowledge of water treatment processes, required equipment and associated costs.
Knowledge of corrosive effects of water on pipes, fittings and instruments based on parameters such as water quality, temperature, pressure etc and relevant control methods.

Job Purpose:

To plan, budget and execute Solar Park construction.

Qualification: Graduation in Civil Engineering from a reputed educational institution

Experience: 2 to 4 years of project planning and execution is required
Candidates with structural design experience will be preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

Feasibility studies and site investigations. Acquiring all relevant requirements particular to solar park construction site such as permits, labor laws, environmental regulations, health and safety requirements etc.
Developing detailed solar park layout plans using computer-aided design (CAD) package.
Detailed construction planning, working out resource requirements.
Planning/scheduling of construction work on site.
Visiting, evaluating and finalizing sub-contractors, material suppliers and HR recruiting agencies.
Project costing, proposals and preparing documents for competitive bidding.

Work Relationship

The Planning and Execution Engineer will report to Director Technical.

Engineer (Mechanical Design)

Job Purpose:

To design new mechanical/electromechanical systems/sub-systems.
To improve existing systems/sub-systems.
To design variants of existing systems/sub-systems.

Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Fresh or 2/3 years of Mechanical Design experience.

Skills & Abilities

Basics of mechanical structures, mechanisms and materials, knowhow of actuation systems
Basics of finite element analysis FEA and Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD
Conceptual designs, comparative study techniques for evaluation of evaluation of concepts together with Detailed designing, DFM, DFA, DFQ and Design for Cost
Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis DFMEA
CAD software and Engineering Drawings generation
Product Data Management (PDM)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collecting the product requirements and design intent: idea generation
Making of project plans for the assigned projects / sub-projects
Carrying out manual calculations, mathematical models, excel sheet simulations for the design of new products / improvement in existing products
Conceptual and preliminary designs using 3D modeling software
Carrying out simple FEA and other simulations, communication with Simulation team for detailed simulations
Detailed designing, tolerancing and engineering drawings generation
Getting the designs reviewed at appropriate stages
BOM / BOQ generation
Helping out relevant functions in making of plans for Manufacturing, Assembling, Testing, Packaging, Transportation, Installation and commissioning
Communication with manufacturing for execution of manufacturing
Search and communication with vendors, suppliers for purchased parts specifications, suitability and costs
Making of Quality Acceptance Criteria and Product Test Plans / criteria
Implementation of design changes
Maintenance of design data in both soft and hard form
Maintenance of all relevant documentation

Work Relationship

The Mechanical Design Engineer will report to Sr. Engineer (R&D)/Mechanical.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will get support of other design engineers and draftsmen in the design activities.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be coordinating with other disciplines, vendors/suppliers for the accomplishment of the objectives.

Engineer (Manufacturing)

Job Purpose:

To oversee, streamline, organize and assist in product development and production activities at the manufacturing site. To provide a link between design and manufacturing activities together with scheduling and budgeting.

Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Experience: 2 to 4 years of Industrial/Manufacturing experience.

Skills & Abilities

An understanding of engineering design process and basics of manufacturing processes and materials.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings/CAD models.
Proficient in manufacturing planning and scheduling.
Proficient in vendor evaluation and communication
Proficient in costing and budgeting.
Capable to resolve problems and manage high workloads.
Capable to lead and effectively communicate with work force.
Capable to work independently and pro-actively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review of product designs for Manufacturing, Assembling, Testing, Packaging, Transportation, Installation and commissioning.
Making of manufacturing and assembling plans.
Resource and cost estimations for the execution of manufacturing, assembling, Testing, Packaging, Transportation, Installation and commissioning.
Managing the execution and tracking of Manufacturing, Assembling, Testing, Packaging, Transportation, Installation and Commissioning.
Helping out in vendor search and evaluation and communication for the manufacturing of new and existing product’s purchased parts
Ensuring conformance of products and services to quality targets.
Ensuring safe and efficient O&M at the manufacturing site; setting objectives and reporting on performance
Developing human resource at the manufacturing site.
Working out proposals for the new manufacturing / assembling facilities or addition of machines and resources to accommodate new demands for existing products.
Working out proposals for improvements in existing manufacturing and assembly facilities.
Development and maintenance of all relevant documentation.
Implementation of best practices and methods to resolve issues and reduce costs.

Work Relationship

The Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Production & Development Manager / Assistant Manager.
The manufacturing supervisors and other resources will directly report to the Manufacturing Engineer.

Sr. Engineer (CAE)

Job Purpose:

ZED Solar is looking for a qualified and experienced Sr. Engineer (CAE), To carryout and lead computer assisted engineering analysis involving FEA & CFD for new product designs and modifications for improvements in existing products.

Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
Masters in CAE is preferable.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience as FEA/CFD/CAE engineer.

Skills & Abilities

Capable of making and analysis of Mathematical Models of the Thermal Systems.
In depth knowledge of finite element analysis FEA and Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD fundamentals.
Basics of materials and structures, thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
Know how of composite materials and their finite element modeling techniques.
Proficient in Ansys or Abaqus.
Familiar to CAD packages & Product Data Management (PDM).
Work planning, execution and presentation.
Design work documentation.
Good communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Translate real world problem to Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Translate real world problem to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Make project plans/workbreakdowns and schedules for the assigned engineering simulation job.
Carry out FEA/CFD simulation efficiently.
Carry out manual calculations, excel sheet simulations and other tools to verify simulation results.
Interpret analysis results and convert them to design suggestions.
Effectively communicate with other disciplines/functions.
Participate in design reviews.
Estimate and suggest hardware resources.
Develop and train engineer simulation team.
Document the simulation results.
Establish and maintain traceable database for FEA models, analysis results and reports.

Engineer (Thermal Design)

Job Purpose:

ZED Solar is looking for a qualified and experienced Thermal Design Engineer , To undertake work related to detailed thermal design and simulations of solar thermal systems

Qualification: BS Mechanical Engineering (Experience in Thermal Design, Direct Steam Generation)
MS Thermal Engineering

Experience: 2-3 years in thermal designing of commercial systems or as research associate in thermal engineering field.

Skills & Abilities

Capable of making and analysis of Mathematical Models of the Thermal Systems.
Good knowledge of Fluid Mechanics fundamentals.
Advanced working knowledge FEA and CFD packages.
Know how Optimization techniques and Algorithms to minimize thermal losses and optimize the design.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Detailed thermal design and analysis of the systems that transfer heat/energy.
Selection and assistance in the procurement of the materials and components required to develop the systems.
System characterization and testing.
Implementing process control; assisting controls team.

Thermal Design Engineer will report to Director Technical.
